As Principal Trainer and Managing Director of Disqover Toby has an amazing passion for the testing profession, and for great education!
Toby has more than 13 years of hands-on testing experience, with 11 years of teaching software testing courses and more than 2000 students’ worth of experience. He has refined the art of software testing training along the way in order to bring out the best in each of his students.
Toby has been a principal trainer and principal test consultant across many industry sectors including, gaming, retail, finance, banking, stockbroking, publishing and advertising and telecommunications.
A specialist in software testing training he has delivered training in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and the UK.
And you can rest assured Toby knows his stuff – in fact he was directly involved in the creation of every piece of Disqover’s course materials.
It’s Toby’s goal to dedicate all Disqover’s energy and knowledge to help those aspiring to be better testers through the ISTQB certification scheme.

- Master of Science (MSc) in Information Systems
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing.
- ISEB/ISTQB Practitioner Certificate in Software Testing with Distinction:
- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager
- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst
- ISTQB Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst.
- Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
