Robert Dey has 40 years experience in the electronic software engineering industry and 15 years in the software and system testing industry.
Robert has considerable practical experience in areas of technical consultation focused on test process management, complex test automation, project management, risk analysis and mitigation, and business process analysis.
His depth of expertise has been utilised in a number of industry sectors including, Professional Services, Software Development, Education, Aerospace, Defence, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Utilities and Financial Services.
Robert currently develops strategic and tactical test management procedures covering unit, functional, regression, system & User Acceptance Testing for a leading international HR/Finance software product company.
Robert is a specialist in automation using Borland SikCentral Test Manager, SilkTest, SilkPerformer, and the HP-Quality Centre Test Manager Suite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager
- Practical Test Management.
